Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

Inbase is operated by Pichayut Pongpeaw, an individual based in Thailand ("we", "us", "our").

By creating an account, clicking "I agree," or using any part of the Inbase service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are accepting on behalf of a company or other legal entity, you represent that you have authority to bind that entity, and "you" refers to that entity. If you do not have such authority, or if you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

2. The service

Inbase is a multi-tenant email inbox and team collaboration platform. It connects to your Resend account to send and receive email. Inbase provides the inbox layer — Resend provides the email infrastructure. You are responsible for your own Resend API key, domain configuration, DNS records, and compliance with Resend's terms of service.

The service allows you to create workspaces and invite team members with one of five roles: owner, admin, moderator, agent, or viewer. Each role carries different permissions as described in our documentation. You are responsible for assigning roles appropriately and for the actions of all members you add to your workspace.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@inbase.dev if you suspect unauthorized access.

You may not share login credentials with others. Each team member should have their own account and be added to your workspace as a member.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Inbase to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk email (spam) or messages that violate CAN-SPAM, CASL, or equivalent laws;
  • Transmit, store, or process content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or infringes any third-party intellectual property right;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any account, system, or network;
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of the service without our prior written authorization;
  • Violate any applicable law or regulation, including data protection laws governing the personal data of email senders or recipients;
  • Resell, sublicense, or offer the service on a white-label or OEM basis without our prior written consent;
  • Use the service in a way that impairs or degrades performance for other users.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, without prior notice and without liability.

5. Your data

You own your data. We claim no intellectual property rights over the content you send, receive, or store through the service. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transmit, and display your content solely as necessary to provide the service to you.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any content you upload or route through Inbase, including compliance with applicable data protection laws for the personal data of any third parties (e.g., email senders or recipients who are not Inbase users).

We will not access your message content except: (a) to provide or improve the service; (b) when you explicitly authorize us to do so for support purposes; or (c) when required by law.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed via Stripe on a monthly or annual cycle. Current pricing is published at inbase.dev/pricing. We reserve the right to change prices on 30 days' notice; continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

Refunds: Monthly plans — no refunds for partial months. Annual plans — full refund within 14 days of initial purchase; no refunds after that period.

If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect payment for up to 7 days before downgrading your workspace to the Free plan. Downgrading does not delete your data, but plan limits will apply immediately.

Exceeding a limit will result in the relevant action being blocked until you upgrade or free capacity. We will not silently delete data to enforce limits — we will notify you before any automated deletion.

8. Intellectual property

The Inbase name, logo, and all software, design, and documentation comprising the service are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights in our IP other than the limited right to use the service as described herein.

9. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee any specific uptime percentage on the Free or Pro plans. The service is provided "as is" and "as available." We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our reasonable control, including third-party infrastructure (Supabase, Resend, Stripe), internet outages, or force majeure events.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance that may affect availability.

10. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the service shall not exceed the greater of: (a) the total fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) USD 100.

In no event shall we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the service in violation of these Terms; (b) content you transmit through the service; or (c) your violation of any third-party rights, including data protection rights of email senders or recipients.

13. Termination

By you: You may delete your workspace and close your account at any time from account settings.

By us: We may suspend or terminate your account immediately without notice if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if continued access poses a security risk. We may also terminate the service with 30 days' notice for any other reason.

Upon termination: your access to the service ends; we will retain your data for up to 30 days after termination to allow you to export it, after which it will be permanently deleted. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including sections 8, 10, 11, 12, and 14) will do so.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. Any dispute arising from these Terms that cannot be resolved informally will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

Before initiating formal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at hello@inbase.dev and give us 30 days to attempt to resolve the dispute informally.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you by email at least 14 days before any material changes take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to material changes, you may terminate your account before the effective date.

16. General

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right. You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
