Do I need a Resend account?
Yes. Inbase connects to your existing Resend API key. Your domain setup, sending volume, and DNS records stay exactly as-is — Inbase just adds the inbox on top.
Can I use my existing Resend key?
That's the whole point. Paste your key in, configure your inbound route, and you're done. No new email infrastructure.
Does Inbase limit how many emails I can send?
No. Your sending volume is determined by your Resend plan. Inbase has no message cap.
What's a workspace?
A workspace maps to one domain — e.g. acme.com. Each workspace has its own inbox, sender addresses, and team members. Pro gives you five.
What happens when I hit the Free workspace limit?
You'll see a prompt to upgrade. Nothing breaks, no data is lost — you just can't add a new workspace until you're on Pro.
Is Pro a one-click upgrade?
Yes. Stripe handles the checkout. You're on Pro in under 30 seconds.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Files and threads beyond the Free 30-day retention window will be removed. You'll get a warning before anything is deleted.
